Table of Contents

Losing a loved one is one of the most difficult things we may ever have to face in life. However, keeping their memory and spirit alive is a beautiful way to honour their life and keep their legacy alive. Funeral memorial boards provide an excellent way to do this, as they serve as a reminder of the life and memories of your loved one.

What Is a Funeral Memorial Board? Definition and Purpose

A funeral memorial board is a type of memory board that displays photos, artwork, and other mementos to celebrate the life of a loved one. It allows family and friends to create a collage of memories that symbolise the personality and life of the deceased.

Different Types of Memorial Boards

Funeral memorial boards come in different sizes and types, ranging from A4, A3, A2 and A1 sizes. These boards can be personalised by adding favourite photos, information, quotes, and artwork that represent the person’s life and personality.

They are often ordered at the same time as the stationery and you can order from as few as x 1.

Advantages of Having a Memorial Board

A funeral memorial board helps to keep the memory of a loved one alive and serves as a touchstone for those left behind. It helps celebrate their life, brings comfort and healing, and serves as a tangible reminder of the person’s impact on their loved ones’ lives.

How to Design and Create a Funeral Memorial Board?

Choosing the Right Board and Size

The first step in designing and creating a funeral memorial board is deciding on the board and size to use. You can select the size based on the space available and the content you want to display. An A4 board may be enough for a small gathering, while an A3 poster board can work well for a larger audience.

Deciding on the Content and Design

Next, decide on the content and design. Consider the memories and moments that best represent the life of a loved one and choose artwork or images that capture their personality. The board can incorporate text, such as a quote or saying, that is fitting for the occasion. The design of the board can have a theme that reflects the person’s interests or life.
